He received the First Prize at the Kuwait Biennale in 1994 and the Grand Prize at the Alexandria Biennale in 1997.\u003cbr\u003eHis artistic practice focuses on visually deconstructing Egyptian reality. He has also contributed significantly to education and independent cultural work through the establishment of the Fayoum Art Center and the region’s first Caricature Museum.
