Here, she is portrayed in a moment of rest and relaxation, listening to Umm Kulthum on the radio.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eMaha Safey El-Din graduated from the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University.\u003cbr\u003eShe studied “Elements of Watercolor Painting” in Ottawa, Canada, under Canadian artist Sylvia Garay, and also attended art courses with artist Magd El Siguini.\u003cbr\u003eShe held her first exhibition at Cherif Lotfy’s “El Shaqqa” Art Gallery, followed by her first solo exhibition at Salah Taher Art Gallery at the Cairo Opera House.\u003cbr\u003eFor several years, she worked as a consultant at CULTNAT (Center for Documentation of Cultural and Natural Heritage).\u003cbr\u003eShe has participated in a number of solo and group exhibitions at the American University in Cairo, Al Hanager Art Gallery, Ahmed Shawky Museum, CULTNAT, and other cultural and artistic venues.\u003cbr\u003eHer paintings portray the daily life of the Egyptian working-class woman, whom she regards as the backbone of her family.
