Omar Elfeyoumi

Born in Giza in 1957. Graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in 1981, majoring in Mural Painting. Traveled to the Soviet Union in 1986 for postgraduate studies in the city of Leningrad (now Saint Petersburg), at the Repin Academy of Fine Arts. Has been participating in the Egyptian art movement since his graduation until the present. Has held solo exhibitions in various galleries, including private and governmental venues. His works are part of the collection of the Museum of Modern Art at the Egyptian Ministry of Culture, and are also owned by individuals in Egypt and abroad. Among his mural works is a mural in the Fustat Market in Old Cairo.
