The Crack - Hanaa Mostafa Nakhla

The Veil in this painting is not merely a silent surface, but a hidden protagonist in the story. At first, it appears as an ordinary mass, but over time, it transforms into a living entity where colors breathe and lines speak. Red glimmers like an old wound, green seeps in like a shadow from within, and blue suffocates in the darkness; together, they become voices of trapped fear. The curved lines move like fleeing souls, only to suddenly stop at boundaries that cannot be crossed, while the central whiteness exposes the silence more than it conceals it.


Hanaa Mostafa Nakhla is a passionate artist and entrepreneur with a degree in English Literature from Cairo University and postgraduate studies in Marketing and Business Administration from Zurich and Florida Universities. She has also honed her artistic skills under the mentorship of prominent Egyptian artists.
* Artistic Journey
- Solo Exhibition: Successfully showcased her first solo exhibition, "Glimpses of Fear," at the Hanagar Hall in the Cairo Opera House in 2023.
-Group Exhibitions: Participated in numerous group exhibitions both locally and internationally, including exhibitions at Almaterh for Arts and Culture, Berlin University, UpTown Cairo, Lamsat Gallery in Cairo, and UniHeart Gallery in Ottawa, Canada.
