The Village Guard - Azza Ismail

The painting portrays faces from rural Egyptian life, highlighting their traditional clothing, accessories, and the vibrant colors of their attire.

Azza Ismaiel Mohamed graduated from the Faculty of Commerce, Cairo University.

She pursued independent studies at the Faculties of Applied Arts and Fine Arts. She illustrated children’s books for Manf Foundation in Qatar and created several motifs for the book “Addicts Confess” by Wagih Abu Zikry.

She held her first solo exhibition in 2005 and has participated in more than 30 group exhibitions, as well as numerous art gatherings and symposiums. She held a solo exhibition at El Sawy Culturewheel on January 21, 2017.

She participated in an environmental and climate exhibition organized in collaboration with the Belgian Foundation, as well as the Aqaba Art Symposium in Jordan. She received a certificate from UNESCO during the International Zervas Symposium and donated a painting to the Embassy of Palestine.

She also participated in the Egypt–Nepal International Exhibition.

Her artworks are held in the War Museum, as well as in private collections in Kuwait, England, and Italy.
