Yasser Gaessa

Graphic designer, visual artist, caricaturist, and journalist. A graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Graphic Department – Animation Division, Cairo, 1993. Active in the Egyptian art scene since 1994. - Member of the judging panel for the Etisalat Award for Children's Literature in Sharjah, 2021. - Illustrated over 150 children’s books between 1997 and 2020 for various publishing houses. - Contributed to the development of textbooks for the Egyptian Ministry of Education from 2003 to 2010 in collaboration with Egyptian publishers. - Worked as a visual expert and art consultant for USAID in Cairo from 1998 to 2011. - Worked in the field of advertising from 1996 to 2018. - Worked in journalism across various publications from 1992 to 2020. His works are held in private and institutional collections around the world.
