Café - Omar El-Fayoumi

Omar El-Fayoumi Born in Giza in 1957, Omar El-Fayoumi graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in 1981, specializing in Mural Painting.
In 1986, he traveled to the Soviet Union to pursue postgraduate studies at the Repin Academy of Fine Arts in Leningrad, now known as Saint Petersburg.
Since his graduation, El-Fayoumi has been an active participant in the Egyptian visual arts movement. He has held numerous solo exhibitions at a variety of private and governmental galleries and cultural institutions.
His works are held in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art at the Egyptian Ministry of Culture, as well as in private collections in Egypt and abroad.
Among his notable mural works is a large-scale mural created for the Fustat Market in Old Cairo.
