Hassan Ghanem

Hassan Abdel Rahim Ghanem, born in 1965, is an Egyptian visual artist and graphic artist. He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Minya University, as part of its first Graphic Arts graduating class. He holds a Master’s degree in Applied Arts, specializing in Advertising, and completed his PhD research in Applied Arts focusing on the relationship between Islamic miniature painting and modern graphic art.
Ghanem has received several awards, including the Graphic Arts Awards from the Fine Arts Lovers Association, the International Graphic Triennale Award in Poland for his anti-war work, and a Graphic Arts Award at the Youth Salon.
Throughout his career, he has worked in academia and graphic design, including as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Specific Education, Benha University, and as a graphic design engineer at the Cultural Development Fund of the Egyptian Ministry of Culture.

He has designed theatrical and cinematic posters and contributed to the development of the National Program for the Development of Handicrafts in Fustat under the supervision of UNESCO.
A member of the Syndicate of Plastic Artists since 1988, his works are held in private and institutional collections in Egypt and abroad.
