Looking back at my work, I can say that although each painting differs in its content, they all refer to a common idea. My art explores the beauty of relationships: with the Divine, with others, and with personal objects and moments that hold emotional significance and memories.
I am fascinated by human connections, the joy of motherhood and fatherhood, and the bonds of sisterhood and friendship.
Inspiration strikes me in the simplest moments: a quiet moment of devotion, a bird soaring high, a warm conversation with a loved one, a good read, or a good cup of coffee.
With this thought in mind, you will surely notice these feelings in my paintings, while each work leaves a window open to the viewer’s imagination.

Heidi Galil Born in Cairo, Egypt, in 1979, Heidi Galil is an Egypt-based visual artist who has been developing her artistic practice since 2018. Originally trained as an architect, she combines her architectural background with her artistic skills and passion for color.
Heidi works with various techniques and mediums, including oil and acrylic on canvas and wood. Her work is inspired by the beauty of nature, human relationships—particularly motherhood and love—her fascination with birds, and contemporary abstract art.
These influences are reflected in her paintings and thematic collections, which combine a contemporary artistic vision with childhood memories and personal heritage.
