A Upper Egyptian woman sits quietly, with a duck resting on her head, while she holds a zalla in front of her. It is a simple scene from everyday life in Upper Egypt, capturing the spirit of the place, its traditions, and its small, intimate details.
Through the woman and the objects surrounding her, I seek to present a spontaneous portrayal of the Upper Egyptian woman and her relationship with the environment in which she lives, where simple details become part of a larger story about life and memory.
