Neven Nathan is a member of the Syndicate of Fine Artists, an Administrative Director at the Ministry of Social Solidarity, a member of the Cairo Atelier, and the founder of the Al-Gezira Art Salon.
She has participated in numerous group exhibitions, including exhibitions at the Salah Taher Hall at the Cairo Opera House, Al-Ahram Hall, the Faculty of Fine Arts in Zamalek, Art Gap Gallery in Rome, Italy, Nout Hall, Al-Hanager Arts Center, the Mahmoud Mokhtar Museum, the Mahmoud Said Museums Center in Alexandria, the Fine Arts Lovers Association, Demi Gallery in Zamalek, Odyssey Gallery, the Cairo Atelier, and Picasso East Gallery. She also held a solo exhibition in 2022 at Al-Bab Gallery at the Cairo Opera House and participated in the 43rd and 45th General Exhibitions. Her works are held in the collection of the Museum of Modern Egyptian Art. She has also received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Cairo Atelier for Writers and Artists.
Prof. Dr. Khaled Sarour, former Head of the Fine Arts Sector, describes Nevin Nathan’s exhibitions as reflecting her passion for exploring new aesthetic dimensions and forms through which she can express her emotions in sculpture. He notes her commitment to creating a strong visual presence in both its material and spiritual dimensions through her interaction with materials and her exploration of ideas and concepts. Her sculptural practice is characterized by forms that engage with the concepts of space and movement, presenting innovative ideas and solutions with distinctive aesthetic values.
Critic and artist Ezz El-Din Naguib expresses his confidence in her abilities as a talented sculptor, describing her artistic practice as a promising contribution to the development of modern sculpture in Egypt. He highlights her courage in entering and challenging a traditionally demanding field for women and in engaging with modernity while drawing upon the human figure and the experiences of artists who preceded her in Egypt and around the world. Her works primarily consist of sculptural masses that are hollowed out and stripped of unnecessary elements and anatomical details, transforming them into expressive and symbolic representations of rhythmic movement. Her forms suggest the human figure without direct realism, exploring contrasting states such as standing and sitting, withdrawal and rising, and bending and uprightness.
